Jamie MacDonald
Chart-topping singer-songwriter and Capitol CMG artist Jamie MacDonald made history with her self-titled debut album (1.23), earning the biggest streaming debut ever for a female Christian artist, the largest debut album streaming launch in Capitol CMG history and No. 1 on Luminate’s Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart. In less than a year, she has amassed more than 350 million global streams, over 200 million socials views and 2.3 million monthly Spotify listeners, while earning three consecutive No. 1 singles: “Desperate,” “Left It In The River” and “Ain’t No Way.” The 12-week No. 1 “Left It In The River” also won Song of the Year at the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards and recently earned an RIAA Gold certification along with “Desperate.” Named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify and Amazon Music, MacDonald made her national television debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show before earning four GMA Dove Award nominations and winning New Artist of the Year at the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards, where she closed the ceremony with a standout performance of “Left It In The River.”
MacDonald expanded her history-making debut on October 16 with Jamie MacDonald (The Deluxe Album), a 30-track collection featuring previously unreleased songs, reimagined fan favorites and collaborations with GRAMMY winners Tori Kelly and Lauren Daigle. Rooted in redemption, transformation and the faith at the heart of MacDonald’s story, the deluxe album offers new takes on the songs that have reached millions, including “A Million Chances (with Tori Kelly),” “Desperate (with Lauren Daigle)” and the new track “On My Way.” The collection also features acoustic renditions, live performances and studio sessions, alongside five reimaginings of “Left It In The River.”
After sharing stages with Chris Tomlin, TobyMac, Benjamin William Hastings, Tauren Wells and Phil Wickham, MacDonald launched the fall leg of her 17-date Left It In The River Tour on October 20, which will wrap with a sold-out hometown show in Flint, Michigan on November 22. She will continue her breakout year with her headline debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on May 23, 2027.
